Hi there! I am a young two year old girl, rescued from a high-kill shelter in Quebec as an owner surrender, through no fault of my own. I am very wonderful, polite, and love to cuddle. I get along with other cats - I am very gentle and well-behaved, even when playing. I would do well with cats who are calm and laid back. My foster family says I am extra sweet, love to give kisses and head bumps, and purr like a machine! I will be shy at 1st, but will come around and warm up very quickly. I am very tolerant of physical touch, and am easy to manipulate. I am spayed, up to date with shots, and in great health. I am well-groomed and low-maintenance; I would be perfect for a household who wants an affectionate, cuddly girl to join their family. I will need someone who is very patient, and has some experience with cats, to help me feel safe and come out of my shell. If you're interested in getting to know me, please let the folks at Safehome know! I can't wait to meet you :)
Bou is just as cuddly and fluffy as he looks. He is a 6 year old pomeranian. He and his “brother”, Darwin were given up by their family due to personal reasons and they could no longer care for them. Bou is a lovable and goofy little boy who LOVES all people. He is extremely affectionate and all he wants is to be pet all the time. Everyone who meets him instantly falls in love. Bou is great with other dogs, small and large, but it does take him a bit longer to warm up to a larger dog. He is not great with cats. He only barks to let you know when someone comes to the door but then stops immediately. He listens very well and responds in English and in French. To adopt please visit our web siteby clicking this link http://bellanima.org/english/en/adopt... and submit an adoption form. This step is extremely important for us to know who you are and understand what you want, need, and expect from your new part of the family and our rescue. Don't let them down. End the vicious cycle.

FOR ADOPTION: DIDI is best described by her foster momma as a "petite little beast." This tiny 9yr old female appears shy at 1st, but she is a force to be reckoned with! Didi is an indoor only cat who takes a while to get comfortable in a new place, but once she does, we trust she will be a lot of fun and really make herself at home. Didi isn't comfortable with large dogs, but is more than happy to snuggle up with a gentle, little dog companion. She also doesn't seem to have any problem living with other cats, as long as they know to respect her space! If not, they better be prepared to get an earful and maybe even a butt kicking from this feisty ol' lady! Once she is comfortable, she is more than happy to follow people around and share a couch. She's even willing to lay on top of you in bed, just don't get the wrong idea and try to make her into a lap cat! Didi has too much energy! Didi just loves to play, and that really does seem to be the key to her heart!
DOB June 18, 2016. Silas is a very unique cat with a lovable personality and a few quirks! His smartness can get him into trouble, and he'd benefit from a family who can stay 1 step ahead of him! For example, Silas loves to see what's on the stove, and quite enjoys running across it, even when it's hot, this has led to him having accidents! The family that adopts Silas will need to make sure they are able to keep him safe by removing him from situations where he can come to harm. His foster family has to put him in another room with the door closed every time they cook. He is also a climber, and will scale Christmas trees and windows, eventually sharing his sweet meow which means "rescue me". Silas also has an incredible appreciation for fine food, and can open bags to get into it, as well as makes a beeline for drinks, including wine! This means his forever family needs to make sure his love of all things culinary is kept in check!

Seamus is a very special little kitten. Seamus and his brother Sonsie were born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia - this is a condition where the part of the brain that controls fine motor skills and coordination is underdeveloped at birth. Consequently, an underdeveloped cerebellum can result in underdeveloped or complicated mobility. CH cats are known for their "drunken sailor" walk, which is why they're known endearingly as "wobbly cats." It's important to remember that Seamus isn't sick, weak or hurt; he's simply uncoordinated - This means although Seamus has some special needs, he will be able to live a long, happy life in the right home. The condition may become less over time, but it never becomes worse. Because of his special needs, Seamus will require an indoor only home with no stairs - He would be perfect for an apartment! Seamus will not be able to jump or climb so house training him will be a breeze. Seamus is litter trained, and is able to get around to eat and drink.
DOB October 24, 2008 Mastropiero is a loving, lovable kitty with the most exquisite green eyes. He has a deep, loud purr and is not afraid to use it, especially when you rub his belly or scratch him under the chin! This senior boy loves to relax and spend quality time with his humans. While he doesn't sit on laps, he will happily lounge alongside his humans on the couch. He makes a most excellent work-from-home companion as well - be prepared to share your chair! At night, he will follow his humans to bed for cuddles and pets, and curl up beside them while they sleep. He's an early riser who will greet his foster family with purrs and meows in the morning, which mean both, "pet me" and "food now please!" Mastropiero especially loves mealtimes, and his tail will tremble with excitement when it's time to eat! He is on a normal diet, but his veterinarian has recommended that he stay away from fish. Portion control (and not free feeding) is best for this boy, to make sure that he doesn't overeat.
Hi, my name is Trudy. I am a delightful and very pretty 6 1/two year old Poodle/Havanese. Even tho I have lost all the people I love, I am still happy and excited with life! I am a cheerful, sociable little girl who just adores people - I've never met a stranger! Cats and dogs are super too - they're all my friends. I'm not very big but I'm fun-loving and spunky! I can run and play with the best of them! Even tho I always try to have a good attitude, lately it's been a struggle for me. My 1st lovable Mom was quite old and couldn't care for us anymore. She had to go to a care home where someone looks after her - but they wouldn't look after me - I don't know why! It was very hard to lose her. I was lucky tho and a new Mom found me and she was cute too. But, my luck didn't last long.....my 2nd Mom got very sick and had to go to a hospice. That means I won't ever see her again. Now, a very kind lady who volunteers for a place called Home at Last Dog Rescue is looking after me. She is gentle and nice to me.
